I have nicknamed this pup Lucky because of his amazing stories. He was born dead, and after about 5 minutes I was almost giving up on him, until miraculously his heart started beating, a few minutes later his first gurgling gasp for air. It was apparent that he had way to much fluid in his lungs to get enough oxygen, so I personally sucked the fluid out of his lungs while providing CPR for an additional 15-20 minutes, after which his struggle for life started looking up. After a entire hour passed he was strong enough to nurse, and ever since has wanted to make the most of his almost lost life. He can be my most sleepy, my most playful, my most sweet, my most outgoing, and my most sensitive, depending on his mood, but he does it all with flair. Then on his 5 week birthday disaster struck again and he was nipped at the food bowl, it was bad and he would not stop screaming, after a rushed vet visit (on Sunday) for fear of a broken jaw, it turned out that it was just his tongue, because where the puncture hole on the bottom of his mouth had gone completely through his chin it had also gone completely through and pierced his tongue, which now 3 days later is almost completely healed, he did not even swell up, except for his tongue, which is why in his 5 week pictures, taken 12 hours later, his poor tongue is sticking out, and he looks a little miserable. Although his accident did earn him bed time as he slept in bed with us for a few nights just until he was no longer sore. He has a great Euro head with slightly tighter skin and a great gait and stance. This little man has a lot to offer a new family who is on the go and would like a Dane to share the experience, because he always like to be with his humans.

This little looker is my x-special lover and talker and he has excellent bone structure in his head. He sleeps the hardest and the most but he also plays the hardest. He was the first to wag his tail and get a toy, he was also one of the first to open his eyes. He will be good for obedience trials and or therapy, as he will probably enjoy the mental stimulation.

"He is your friend, your partner, your dog.
You are his life, his love, his leader.
He will be yours, faithful and true to the last beat of his heart.
You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion."
